Gingerbread House Project 2015

As I know you have all seen already, we made gingerbread houses last week in class. King Arthur Flour generously donated enough kits for each student to decorate his/her own. We opened up the wall between the two First Grade classrooms and had a decorating party. It was a ton of fun. The following day, we mapped out the town of Hartford and each student was able to place their house on the map. We talked about our community and how we all are connected.
