Mr. Tobin, our personal Super Hero

Mr. Tobin has truly been our Rock Star Super Hero!!! He has helped out in every way possible. From the day to day happenings to taking on lead teacher while I was on maternity leave, he has done it all. Today we were able to honor him and the rest of our wonderful para-educators with a Super Hero themed luncheon. Each student created a super hero poster for Mr. Tobin. 

CHICKS!!!!

Today Farmer Johnson came to visit our school and he brought along some of his chickens, including some super cute baby chicks. He left several fertilized eggs for us to incubate in our classrooms. If all goes well, we will have baby chicks of our own in 21 days!!!!

Relax Reading

We have been busy the last few Fridays and haven't been able to enjoy our Relax Reading time. So last Friday we enjoyed our books outside, under the trees, with a Popsicle in hand :-)

Farm Unit

We are well on our way into our Farm Unit. Students are busy buying animals, mapping land and balancing their budget books.
