Read Across America Day: Dr. Seuss

We had a fabulous time last Friday! We enjoyed a delicious green egg and ham snack, toured the school which was decorated with various Dr. Seuss books, and celebrated reading in the afternoon with various classrooms. A HUGE thank you to all of the families that helped make our classroom look so fantastic. The students really enjoyed enter a world of "Green Eggs and Ham"! It truly was a magical day!

Penguin Word Problems

Students wrote penguins word problems and later, spent time solving problems their peers had created.

Penguin Reports

Students worked on their Google Drive to create a presentation about a penguin. When they finished, each student presented their slideshow to their peers.

Students have been using Google Drive to create presentations about different penguins and how their body structures allow them to survive within their environment.

Valentine Fun

Before break, we enjoy an afternoon of Valentine exchanges and treats. Thank you to those who donated to our celebration. *sorry for the delayed post.

Hot Cocoa Please

We were able to enjoy another Relax Reading this Friday afternoon. This was extra enjoyable this week, as students had just come inside from enjoying PE down the bike path. 

We are completely out of hot chocolate. We would love donations of any kind, large tubs or individual packets, either work just fine.
