Here We Go

Class lists have been made, books have been ordered, crayons have been sorted and cubbies have been labeled! First Grade is good to go on Tuesday. I have had a very busy and fun summer with my family but boy am I ready to be back at Dothan Brook each day and spend my days filled with learning, fun and smiling faces!

I've been busy the past week collaborating with Lois Burriss (1st grade counterpart). We've been introduced to a new math curriculum, changing up some of first grade's staple units (farm and penguins to name a few). I've also been busy cleaning and organizing the classroom. I'm excited to show students our new seating options and learning centers. See you soon!
