Hands-On Learning

This week we took a closer look at the moon, by creating our very own moons with paper mache. Today we were able to paint our moons in the Art Room. They turned out really great! Each student worked very hard. They were able to add glitter if they wanted to. It was very rewarding to walk around while they were working and hear them discuss how their moon was a crescent moon so they only added a little bit of glitter, or their moon was a full moon so they added glitter all over one side.

*Also, their life-size penguins and their clay penguins are coming home today!
